Stella Nyanzi, a women’s rights activist has been arrested and taken to court for calling the president a “pair of buttocks”. The guardian has written a great article on it. Never be fooled that Uganda is anything more than an oppressive, corrupt, dictatorship.
“The Facebook post over which Nyanzi was charged read: “That is what buttocks do. They shake, jiggle, shit and fart. Museveni is just another pair of buttocks … Ugandans should be shocked that we allowed these buttocks to continue leading our country.”
Don’t worry, they’re not going to arrest a mzungu for re-posting something like this :p

Thanks Hayley. It is hard to believe even for us living here. Even the newspapers here often have a go at Musevini, its just that this women is becoming quite popular so is probably seen as a bit of a threat who needs to be put in her place
